Equestrian Parking Area
The Equestrian Parking Area is located off Pine Cliff Road. This large parking site can accommodate numerous horse trailers and cars. There is a restroom area, but there is no running water at this site. The main trailhead is located at the far end of the parking lot.
Driving Instructions
From Havelock 70 East take left at Ford dealership onto Fontana Rd. towards Cedar/Cherry Point Ferry. (Fontana becomes NC 101E.) Continue on Hwy NC101E 5.2 miles. Turn left onto Hwy NC 306N towards the Cherry Point Ferry. Go 3.3 miles and turn left onto Pine Cliff Road at the Croatan Forest sign. (Turn is just past Cherry Branch Community Church.) Go approximately 0.7 mile down gravel road to new Equestrian Trails parking area on left.
