WHO WE ARE
The Back Country Horsemen of the Croatan is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization and one of five North Carolina chapters of the Back Country Horsemen of America.

OUR PURPOSE

Work to ensure that public lands remain open to recreational equestrians.

Assist the services involved and all private agencies in their maintenance and management of our public lands.

Encourage, educate and solicit active participation in the use of the Back Country resources by horsemen and the general public in maintaining our forest and natural heritage.

Work together with developed chapters to sustain the future of the Back Country Horsemen.
TRAIL DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE
Our chapter works with individuals and businesses, as well as Parks and Forest services on State and Federal levels.
